About Deedee's Deelights
Our Story
DeeDee's Deelights was born from my passion for fruit arts, which includes creating fruit tables, edible arrangements, chocolate-covered strawberries, and fruit baskets. As I explored this passion, I discovered a market need for birthday cakes. When customers ordered gifts, they often asked if I made birthday cakes. So, I decided to pursue training. I enrolled in a 6 weeks baking class. By the end of the training, I realized my interest extended beyond just birthday cakes.
The passion and excitement of my instructor, was contagious. Her enthusiasm inspired me to continue improving my craft even after completing the course. I enrolled in several other online classes to help improve my craft.
Two years later, I am proud to say that I have had the privilege of making over 600 cakes, including 22 wedding cakes, and I have trained 7 students in basic cake production and 6 students in intermediate cake production.
